Professional Background: Since my early retirement from First Interstate Bank in 1996, I have provided training and consulting services for financial institutions and, from time to time, services as an expert witness for matters relating to banking. Having been through a few economic downturns, I have stayed current with the issues of the day and enjoy a good reputation in all financial circles, including the regulatory bodies. Most recently I have completed a one year project consisting of Managing the Commercial Real Estate Loan Production Offices throughout California for a $5 Billion Bank. This project consisted of but was not limited to the General Management of the operation and efforts were concentrated in Commercial and Real Estate Loan Training, Loan Grading, Document Review and Problem Loan Management. The results passed muster with the Regulatory Bodies and at the first review all loan grading, processes put into place, were rated Satisfactory. My 34 year career with First Interstate Bank began after high school; I started as a messenger and served in all areas of Branch Banking. In 1975 I was promoted to our Seattle Bank where I served as a Correspondent Banker in the Northwest with emphasis in Alaska.
